SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT GRANT

• Are you a small to medium-sized business based in Southern Adelaide with a turnover of $250,000 to $5m per annum?
• Are you looking at introducing further innovation and new technology into your business?

In response to the closure of Mitsubishi’s Tonsley Park manufacturing plant, the State Government has established the Small Business Development Grant (SBDG).

This competitive, merit-based grant is available on a dollar for dollar matching basis.

Its key aims are to:

• target established, small and medium sized manufacturing and services (ICT, technical, educational and scientific) companies with a sound, clearly identified investment opportunity.
• enhance economic growth, employment and business development in Southern Adelaide.

Applications will be accepted if the project involves a minimum capital expenditure of $200,000 and new job creation in the Southern Adelaide region. Projects with a bias toward innovation and the introduction of new technology will be given priority.
